Journeying back from Bristol Temple Meads to Westbury meant that Hedgie and I would be stopping off in various local areas and having a look around for an hour while we waited for the next train, and things were off to a very pleasant start with Keynsham. A lovely little town, with a nice little station. Though I expect those who live there and are of a younger age than I probably wouldn’t enjoy the simple pleasures and instead yearn for somewhere that has a more active nightlife. Idyllic and gentle seemed to be the order of the day. After the bustle of Bristol, this was a nice change of pace, and on an important enough line to see thundering passthroughs from Class 43 HSTs. The station photo was easily taken in the glorious sunshine, and our train to the next stop came all too soon.
