Highley (Heritage)

After the success of getting the Isle of Wight steam railway and the Mid-Hants Watercress line, I found myself taking a trip to the Severn Valley Railway in Kidderminster with the father figure. This would not be the first time we’d gone there for the railway’s gala events, and also not the first time I’d get some Pup All The Stations photos either. Highley station was a rather easy get. With photography opportunities at each end of the station and also at a nearby museum overlooking the line, father liked the vantage point from the museum end and I preferred the station end. So we split up for the filming of a couple of trains. Chance given to me, all I had to do was wait for a train to depart so the platform would be clear, and take my photo from the otherside of the tracks. Okay, there was a lot of people on my side, but none of them seemed to pay much notice to the selfie taking puppy in their midst. Photo taken, it was time to return to the parent and enjoy the rest of the day. However, there was still one station I’d not yet tackled, and it was rather close by…
