Following the blunt-force-trauma of rainbows that was London Pride, it suddenly became time to do it all over again. Brighton Pride came swiftly and without mercy. The pups were not in the parade, but we all donned full gear and sat by the parade route to bark/howl at all those taking part (even getting featured briefly in a video on the Daily Mail’s coverage of the day). Brighton was un-drivable, so Echo and I ditched the car at Hove and got the train in. The plan was to get Hove and Brighton on the same day, but crowd control was happening in Brighton so there was no chance of getting a photo there. Hove, however, was a different story. One of the easiest station captures, and in some wonderful summer sunlight. Pride itself was awesome as well, especially all the people wanting photos. Never thought I’d enjoy having photos taken by random people, but the spirit of Pride was overwhelming – you really lose any sense of self-doubt when you have people queuing for photos with the puppy. Even a spot of rain during lunch couldn’t spoil the day. Many happy memories were made that day, and thanks to #PupAllTheStations, I have a photo to remember them by.
