Doggy Weekend is an event up in Manchester which is organised by the folks behind Kennel Klub and Club Animalz. It’s a Friday to Sunday long weekend celebrating everything to do with Puppy Play and the Pet Play community. As part of the weekend they are hosting The 2019 Pup Community awards, which is their way of celebrating the pups who have made a positive impact on the community. All the nominees are nominated by the community and the community then votes for the winners.
Thanks to the amazing pups in this community, Pup All The Stations has been nominated in the Community Outreach category (well, I have, but I maintain it’s really Pup All The Stations that has been nominated and I’m just the admin). We’re up against some very well deserving other nominees like Puppy Buumi (the Mr Puppy Europe 2019 winner) and his #LendAPaw initiative so it’s doubtful Pup All The Stations will win, but if you want to cast a vote in the awards you can do so here: https://www.doggyweekend.co.uk/awards.
I would like to thank whomever nominated Pup All The Stations for the award, and like to think that every vote we get is a vote for everyone who has taken part in the project and had the courage to photograph themselves in public at railway stations all over the world. There are many more on the Twitter (and apparently Instagram) feed than on the map. Eventually they will all be added. I would also like to thank everyone who has taken part so far as we travel on the railways of the world, pupping the signs one station at a time. Pup All The Stations wouldn’t be the same without you all.
