TigerTails Gaming plays a little Rock Band 3

Now that TK and Hedgie have access to a PVR, they decided to abuse it. Many hours of test footage later, TK found a configuration he was happy with, and the pair set about to record something. Then they wondered about the audio output of the device when playing the PS3 version of Rock Band 3. A couple of songs later, the found out that the microphone output was appalling, and utterly unsuitable for recording. Cue the drafting in of a spare TigerTails Radio microphone, and the studio’s camera.

What you have below is the result of this unholy union. With TK on lead guitar and Hedgie on vocals, TigerTails Gaming brings your Unbelievable by EMF, Rock Band 3 on PS3 version…

Part 1b of TTG playing FTL. So we died in flames, but we are back as “TTR Studio2”. Realised that everything was in 8 bit video vision, will be correcting this for future Vids. Along with the mic hiss.

Who has a community on Steam now? Go on, have a guess…

That’s right – we do!

If you’re a long-time TigerTails Radio listener who’s discovered our gaming site, or you’ve just discovered us though the TigerTails Gaming YouTube account or website, you’re all more than welcome to join our little group on Steam and play some games with us. It’s called TigerTails Gamers (aka Team-TTG), as that’s what we are – or at least that’s what we’re meant to be.

Click here, or the Steam Logo on the right to visit the group page and sign up, and then don’t forget to check in every now and say hi. Or check for new multi-player games, or something. Or even just a chance to meet up online and chat. Or lick wallpaper.

Gaming News: Capcom to release DuckTales Remastered

Could Hell be freezing over? Is “Crapcom” about to release a good game? Well, it certainly seems like it, after the trailer for DuckTales Remastered, a remaking of the classic NES game, came out. The trailer shows in-game footage, with a hand-drawn cast of characters interacting with a 2.5D background. With every other 2D platform game being remade with a 2.5D background, I think the style of DuckTales Remastered should fit in quite nicely. With IGN claiming that Disney voice talent are hard at work recording for the game, and the 8-bit game’s soundtrack has been remade for our modern ears, Capcom could finally be releasing something that us folks here at TigerTails Gaming could actually get interested in. Especially if they don’t foul up the soundtrack. Enjoy the trailer.

Team TigerTails’ Adventures In: MineCraft – Series 1

Just to add a little colour to this site, while we wait for the new content to arrive, here’s look at the first series of Team TigerTails’ Adventures In: Minecraft. The short series follows TK, Eeve3, Salamander3, Xavier, Felis, and Hedgie as they brave the wild Minecraft world. Also featuring is a little song by The Platypus Keytar Band called The Shearing Song. Enjoy.

Look At This…

Welcome to the new direction of TigerTails Entertainment…  We’re proper gamers now, it seems.  This is the obvious “first post” post to the site, so there might be a bit of a delay in getting fresh, new content to you – but myself and Xavier are working on that score, and we’ll let you know the moment something fresh comes along. We’re just putting the throw pillows and scatter cushions (because everyone needs throw pillows and scatter cushions) out first.

Until then, please enjoy your stay here at TigerTails Gaming.
