TigerTails Gaming plays: ToeJam & Earl – Episode 1

Join Xavier and TK as they take on another Sega Megadrive classic. Having crash landed on Earth, alien duo from Funkotron ToeJam and his buddy Earl must find all 10 pieces of their rocketship before blasting off back home. On the way, they’ll encounter all manner of Earthlings and hazards as they embark on their epic journey – and sadly all they’ve got to help them is the combined “skill” of Xavier (playing as ToeJam) and TK (playing as Earl).

In the first episode TK explains the game to Xavier and they start on their voyage, trying to make it all the way to level 6 of 25 without causing too much death along the way. Join them as they climb up in the world, and check out they mysterious secret level 0!

TigerTails Gaming plays: A Mystery Game (Episode 4)

Not quite a year since the last one, at least… This time TK has summoned Xavier and Hedgie together to revisit some ghosts of their past. This series started in 2016 would you believe (talk about a slow burn) and has seen the likes of Dalmatians 3, The 7th Guest, and most recently (or June 2018 as it’s otherwise known) Bishi-Bashi on the original Playstation. Now the length of time has been enough for TK to survive making the cast play another game, but what horrors or delights await them as another envelope is ripped open and its contents revealed.

Grab your popcorn, sit back, and laugh at the abuse TK gets as TigerTails Gaming plays yet another mystery game…

TigerTails Gaming plays: Tanglewood – Episode 8

Join Xavier and TK as Xavier takes on Tanglewood for the first time. Since TK and the rest of TigerTails Gaming except Xavier got into the closed beta for Tanglewood, TK thought it only fair that he had a chance to experience the game and see what all the fuss was about. Playing on a genuine Sega Megadrive thanks to the ROM that comes free with the Steam version of the game.

The final episode of the series and Xavier finds himself against the final boss of the game. Will he make it? Will he managed to jump off a bridge correctly? Will the final Fuzzl type grant just that little bit too much power? Probably, but Xavier needs to muster his cunning to defeat the big-bad and all that it entails. The final portion of the video is Xavier giving his thoughts and opinions of the game.

In this 7th part, Xavier tackles the nightmares that lurk in the sand dunes, but takes far less time than usual to complete the level. This episode took the least amount of editing, especially compared to Episode 6! Still, does that stop him getting mad? Well, watch and find out!

Chapter 6 finds Xavier uttering many curse words as he finds his nemesis in running away from Djakks. And spikes. And Hoggs. And pretty much anything else that is deadly. This episode had more edited out of it than actually remained in. There were many, many deaths. You could almost call this a highlights reel.

Chapter 4 and this time Xavier has a little friend to worry about… Or does he? Watch as he figures out traps, tricks, timing, and other things beginning with the letter T. There is also a surprise waiting for him at the end of the level, and it’s a something he was not expecting!

In this episode Xavier brings Nymn to the remains of the ancient civilisation whom had worked out how to unlock the potential of mystical red Fuzzles, train Djakks, and build machinery. Will Xavier survive, or will TK have to edit out about 30 mins of failure and misery? (Clue, this video is more heavily edited than it initially looks.)

In this second episode Xavier tackles the weather in a rather death filled episode (not to mention the many more deaths edited out for time). Much to TK’s amusement, of course. Witness battles against wind, rain, and deadly thunderstorms? Will Xavier prevail without embarrassing himself too badly? Watch and see…
