The station had been lovingly restored to the &#8220;glory days&#8221; of BR Western Region ownership.  This meant that classic signs in their classic livery had been installed, and the station was adorned with a garden and hanging baskets that would make most other stations quite envious.  Our stop there wasn&#8217;t a long one, so there wasn&#8217;t much chance to go exploring, but the station was well photographed, including the old station sign, and the BR totem signs.  The garden even had a little planter in the shape of a small steam locomotive, which also was well photographed.   There was a very photogenic bridge over a road right next to the station as well, which may have been subject to my camera with a train heading to Falmouth on it.  After exploring the station all over, we hadn&#8217;t left enough time to go explore the village, so we headed back to the platform and made friends with a cute pug who kept sitting on my foot and demanding fusses. I was only too happy to oblige.
