The good thing about the Elizabeth Line being underground is that the stairs are reasonably manageable, but there are still entirely too many of them. Then again, a flight of about 6 steps would be entirely too many, but I digress. Once Shades and I had navigated the steps, I went roundel hunting while Shades looked for a staff member so they could be made aware of the broken lift. The roundel I found was right next to the rather perplexed looking platform attendant who dutifully radioed the broken lift to control while I grabbed the selfie with the sign. With that job done, we decided to jump on a train to the end of the line (until they all join up) and headed to the next station (and maybe a watering hole).<\/p>\n
