  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Ratchet and Clank

    With the release of Rift Apart in the near future for those lucky enough to have beaten the scalpers at getting a PS5, Xavier takes this Friday to see where it all began, with the original Ratchet and Clank game, lovingly high-rezzed on the PS3 (thank you PlayStation Plus). While TK has only spent time with the PS4 remake/reboot thing, Xavier has enjoyed the original in the past so will be taking a trip back in time. How far will he get? Watch this space and find out.

  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty

    It’s another Friday night, which means it’s time for games that will kick Xavier’s arse. This week there is going to be some choice language and maybe a temper or two as Xavier journeys into Oddworld and takes on the remastering of Abes Oddysee, “New ‘N’ Tasty”. With Soulstorm being released recently, now seems like the perfect time to go back and see where the reboot all began.

  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Soul Edge & Soul Calibur VI

    TK forgot to remove the title card at the start. Skip to 5:46 to see the action. It’s a Friday at the end of the month, so you know what that means? It’s time for more fighting games. So as this seems to have become a regular thing, let’s name it as such. The last Friday of the month is now official a Friday Night Fights night, and what better way to kick of this new tradition than with the most Eldest and the recent versions of a long running franchise? It’s the Soul series. Starting with some Soul Edge on the PS1, and then moving on to Soul Calibur VI on the PS4.

    Xavier returns to the lure of the Bandicoot. After playing some of the first Crash game on the PS1, Xavier is returning to the madness to another crack at it – starting from scratch as he neglected to save his game last time… How far will he get before rage quitting? Tune in and find out!

  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Spyro – Year of the Dragon

    Another PS1 game, and this time it’s a proper classic. Purchased because TK wanted the Prototype of Crash Bash that’s included on the disc, Xavier will be tackling the main game. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon. Not having the previous 2 entries in the series, Xavier will be playing the last great Spyro game on the PS1 (on a 1000 series PS1 no less). How well will he do? Tune in and find out!

  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Hard Edge (aka T.R.A.G) – Part 2

    Picking up from where he left off during PlayStation Month last year, Xavier returns to the world of Hard Edge to see if he can finish the game, or at least get close enough to the end to finish it in a third stream. Join him as he takes on the Resident Evil-esque puzzles and camera, aided by TK looking up things on the Internet when he inevitably gets lost and stuck. Will he succeed? Tune in and find out.

  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Tekken 3

    Taking a bit retro and making use of the Japanese PS2 in the studio, Xavier faces off against TK for some classic head-to-head Tekken 3 action, with maybe a spot of something else thrown in if the fighting gets too much for them… This is the NTSC-J version of the PS1 classic, so no terrible PAL framerates for them. Who will emerge victorious? Who will get to call themselves the King of Iron Fist? Tune in to find out.

  • TigerTails Gaming Streams: Spirit of the North – Part 2

    The Friday streams return, and this time Xavier is playing a game that TK purchased on a sort of whim. The Signature Edition of Spirit of the North. In this second part of the adventure, Xavier will continue to do battle against the plague that’s infecting the lands, while rescuing lost souls along the way. The aim will be to finish the game either on this stream or a final one, but can Xavier put in the effort to Platinum this one? Tune in to find out.

    Xavier gets to play a game that TK has been sinking entirely too many hours in to recently, the digital board game Armello. A game where four furry characters have to overcome obstacles, tricks, traps, mountains, and each other as they battle to either save or kill the king. Consumed by Rot, the king is falling prey to the madness it induces, and it’s up to you and the cards you draw to either cure him, or kill him and take the throne for yourself. Tonight Xavier will attempt to do just that. Will he succeed? Tune in and find out.
