One of the main hubs outside of London, Reading stands as a location that can magically make any train fare suddenly increase dramatically in price. Something that Shades found out when booking his tickets before we set off – a job that ended up being done at a booking office as the sudden price hike when even sniffing around the concept of Reading was alarming to the point of thinking it was incorrect. Reading itself was quite a nice station, though options for good photos were limited unless you’re a giraffe. Once a sign had been located, we made the hike over to the correct platform, passing a pastry shop along the way. Some rather expensive but quite tasty nibbles purchased, and we were heading down to our train. Next stop, our destination for the day…
