Twyford

Following a lovely night in Maidenhead, in which many festivities (well, a birthday party) were enjoyed, it came time to come home. So obviously there was the chance to grab a quick station on the way. Not as many stations as I’ve have liked thanks to Sunday timetables, but there was time to nab one at least. So Shades and I settled for Twyford to be the lucky station. It was a good pick too, as while there was a long wait for the next train, there was a lovely little waiting room to sit in which no one else appeared to have noticed (until a GWR staff member also came in to wait for their train too). Outside, Elizabeth Line and GWR express trains were zooming by at a fair turn of speed, which was very fun to watch. It wasn’t too hard to find a nice spot for a photo either, which is always a plus. After about an hour our train to Reading arrived which would lead on to home. A good end to a good weekend.
