Finsbury Park (Underground)

The hunt for Pride roundels continues… Heading back to our hub at Highbury and Islington, Shades and I decided to bounce on to the Northern City Line for a couple of stops. The chance to ride on full size trains in former London Underground tunnels is always a thrill. There was also the chance we would have gotten to ride the new 700’s that are being introduced on the line. Alas, the old 313’s were still running. However, as the trip previously taken along the Northern City Line had not afforded me the chance to grab Finsbury Park’s Underground station, now seemed like the perfect chance to grab it. So we jumped off the train and found a roundel. Station captured, we switched platforms and headed down the National Rail metals to Highbury & Islington where we changed onto the Overground as we headed for the next station.
