There are times when a simple interchange between train and tube can become the stuff of legend. This was probably not one of those times, but it did create a happy ending to a previous story. The time spent in August collecting Pride roundels had ended up with most of them being collected with the exception of one at a pier (which was being skipped as it’s not a station) and the one at Vauxhall as Shades and I had run out of time to get it. They were due to be removed at the end of August, so we figured we’d missed our chance. So, while changing from National Rail to the Victoria Line, Shades went to take care of personal things while I waited outside the Underground’s entrance. While there, I spotted the Pride roundels were still installed. So before heading down to the platform level, we got a quick photo with the Pride roundels (see below). This finally completed our set… As far as we know. Getting the photo of the usual roundel afterwards seemed almost a formality. We then jumped on our train and headed to Kings Cross to catch the Podcast Festival.
