Caersws

Fresh off our LLanfairpwll adventure (and having changed shirt… It was a warm day) Echo and I left Hedgie in the cabin and went exploring the local area a bit. Most of our adventures so far had been to the north of our base for the holiday, so this time we thought we’d venture south and see where it took us. After about half an hour of aimlessly driving around we had gotten ourselves nice and lost. Deliberately lost, this is, not accidentally lost. When Google Maps is at your fingertips and reception is abundant it is rather hard to get accidentally lost. We started to think about heading back (Hedgie was cooking) when we crossed over a railway bridge. Out came Google and I found the nearest station wasn’t too far away. So I guided Echo to it, and soon we were parking up nearby and getting ready to go collect another station.

This was the only time it rained during the entire holiday. After we’d taken our photos we were about to go exploring on foot when it started to rain. Just a few spots, but something that could certainly be classed as precipitation. So we ran back to the car only for the rain to stop the second we’d sat down. There was no more rain until the drive home. We then Googled Mapped our way back to the cabin and arrived shortly before Hedgie started dishing up. Perfect timing.
