After capturing Battersea Power Station station, it was time to make a very short stop at Nine Elms and complete the very short branch of the Northern Line. Jumping off the train, it wasn’t too tricky to locate a nice roundel as the station is rather large, well laid out, and reasonably clean. Added bonus, it was reasonably quiet, which was nice for a Saturday – a London Pride Saturday at that. With my boots dropping more rubber all over the place, heading up and out was decided against, so once the photo was done (much to the bemusement of a nearby passenger) it was time to jump on the next train and head back to Waterloo. This meant getting to travel on another bit of the Kennington loop as the branch joined the Charing Cross branch of the Northern Line – perfect for me as I wanted to reach Waterloo. No changing at Kennington for me! Upon reaching Waterloo I had a short wait for my train back to see Shades, whereupon an Indian restaurant was attacked for delicious food.
