Battersea Power Station (Underground)

London is a busy place at the best of times, but during London Pride its even more chaotic and bustling than usual. Having taken part in the parade earlier in the day, I was already tired and ready to go home. The parade had been fun, but the pressing urge to empty the bladder had kicked in as all the pups had taken their place shortly before 2pm, and by the time the march had concluded, it was gone 5pm. Nature wasn’t so much calling as shouting, so after the post-parade photoshoot was concluded, I walked with the pups back to the post-parade event ground until they passed an Underground station. Embankment! Waterloo would be the next stop, and at Waterloo there would be a chance to relieve myself. Having already pupped Embankment’s Underground station back in 2019 on the grand tour of the Circle Line with Echo, I knew I could just jump on the first train and find sweet release. Soon I was back in Waterloo and pondering what to do next. My boots were falling apart – they had marched their last Pride march and chunks of the sole had fallen off – and hunger was starting to set in, but I figured I could probably take a quick jaunt down the Northern Line to travel down the new branch to Battersea Power Station station. So I headed back underground and waited a few minutes for the next train heading for the branch. It was fun getting to travel briefly along the Kennington Loop (which is usually closed to passengers) before the Northern Line extension branched off it and the train headed towards Nine Elms. I figured I’d pup that on the way back, so stayed on the train until we arrive at Battersea Power Station station. Once I got the photo (not realising my collar was askew and my name tag was dangling at an odd angle), I decided to head above ground for some fresh air and a drink of water. It was a nicely designed space, with plenty of seating – something I took advantage of very swiftly. I told Shades of my plans, as I was staying with him over the Pride weekend, before heading back into the station and back down to the platforms, ready for the trip back to my next stop.
