The western end of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway saw another quick turnaround of the locomotive so more fast action was required of Echo and I. This time we had to work amongst the swarm of people who started off looking very confused by the hoods until the selfies started, and then eyes rolled and people carried on with their lives. The main problem with getting the photo was the size of Wootton’s board and the depth of the platform. There wasn’t much room to work, especially as we were surrounded by people. Silently encouraging the public not to stray into shot was tricky, but we got it. Just in time to jump back aboard and then decide what the plan was. There were still some Island Line stations to photograph and we had to decide where to park and in what order to pup them.
