Give the Pup a Treat

Recent Mastodon Toots

Things have been a bit of a balancing game with Pup All The Stations updates. Up to Page 15 of the Great Thumbnail Fixing project thanks to a plugin breaking all the thumbnail sizes. Also have 46 stations to add to the map, but thankfully some of them are updates to existing stations, so only 27 new stations to get on the map. 19 updates on top of that means Condor is a very busy pupper indeed.
Just need to remember to post to social media and the Ko-Fi more. https://ko-fi.com/pupallthestations

Update on The Great Thumbnail Issue of 2025: All stations starting with A or B have now been fixed, hopefully, and now working my way through C. With 935 placemarks to edit, this is not a fast process.
On the plus side, getting to revamp a lot of oooooold entries to bring things up to modern standards, so there is a silver lining to it all, at least.

One thing I haven't mentioned is that recently the Pup All The Stations website hiccupped and broke all the thumbnails for the placemarks on the map. While I have an expert looking crafting a solution, I'm going in and implementing a workaround and updating some links at the same time. This is going to take a while, so if work on the website seems to grind to a halt, now you know why. Still accepting new entries into the backlog, however, so keep sending in your photos!
Happy 2025 all!

A longer version of this post is now up on Ko-Fi.

The
Ko-Fi is there to be a tip jar, but it's also useful to put up longer posts onto that can't fit on to the main social media platforms. All available for free, so don't worry about things being stuck behind a paywall. Though small donations to help keep the site running are gladly received.

As 2024 comes to a close and 2025 gets ready to take over, it's time to reflect on the year.Only 3 new stations added to the blog this year, which isn't as many as wanted, but this project's a slow burn so that's not world ending. Looking forward to doing more in 2025 though. On the plus side, over 930 stations in total added to the map, plus the backlog, an amazing number. Pups in 18 different countries have pupped stations, which is fantastic. Overall a good year, well done everyone.

Condor isn’t the only one documenting their station pupping activity.  Other pups are doing it too, with their own blogs.
